LAST DAY TO RSVP! | Monday, October 9, 2017 The Idaho Federation of Republican Women invites you to attend their evening gala event - "As Time Goes By - Republican Presidents and First Ladies - Pearls, Lace, and Grace." The gala dinner will feature special guest speaker Harmeet K. Dhillon, Partner at Dhillon Law Group in San Francisco. In addition, an auction along with a review of our country's Republican Presidents and First Ladies. Everyone is welcome to attend. Tickets are available by visiting: About Harmeet K. Dhillon Harmeet Kaur Dhillon, the founder and senior partner of Dhillon Law Group Inc., is an experienced business trial lawyer, trusted boardroom advisor, and passionate advocate for individual, corporate and institutional clients across numerous industries and walks of life. Harmeet has been active in public policy and political causes since college, when she was an Editor in Chief of The Dartmouth Review, a conservative campus newspaper. Harmeet has run for office twice, as the first Indian American major party nominee for State Assembly in California (2008) and State Senate (2012). She has been a California Republican Party delegate for over a decade, representing San Francisco. She was the chair of the San Francisco Republican Party for four years, served for three years as Vice Chairman of the California Republican Party (as the first woman to win that position), and currently is the RNC Committeewoman from California, representing California on the RNC Standing Rules Committee. Harmeet has made national headlines with several prominent lawsuits representing conservative and free speech plaintiffs. She has represented San Jose Trump supporters in a civil rigths lawsuit against the City and its police for failing to protect them in a riot after a June, 2017 Trump rally. She represents the Berkeley College Republicans and Young America’s Foundation suing UC Berkeley for violating the First Amendment rights of conservatives on campus. She has represented the California Republican Party and California Republican Women’s Federated groups in trademark litigation matters. She also represents the Google engineer fired for his political views this summer. Harmeet has won numerous awards and recognition for her pro bono legal work on behalf of domestic violence survivors, religious discrimination plaintiffs, and asylum seekers fleeing religious or political persecution.
